The artist residency Essieu du Batut, in Murols, in Northern Aveyron, announces a call for residencies for the next cultural season.
This residence includes a working studio and guest house for the creation and development of projects in the artistic disciplines related to movement, circus and dance, for the site or on site. It is supported by the Department of Regional Affairs of Occitanie (Drac) and the Department of Aveyron.
L’Essieu du Batut is also part of the “Our Common Places” network, which implements a program to support creativity in situ for professional artists through the Nomades program.
For this call for proposals, the application deadline is January 31, 2024. Finally, the Murols art residence is hosting the contemporary circus festival “La grande confluence”, the next edition of which will take place from July 4 to 7.
