It’s time to turn, we invite you to share life in the castle!
First we invite you to the Château de Roquetaillade, a magnificent medieval fortress located in Mazères, 1 hour from Bordeaux, in the Gironde. The Sébastien de Baritaud family has been taking care of the building for 3 generations. Sébastien is therefore the current owner and lives in the castle with his family all year round. He continues to bring this extraordinary heritage to life, between restorations, visits and art exhibitions. An extraordinary life dedicated to Roquetaillade!
Another story, elsewhere in New Aquitaine, that of Turenne Castle in Corrèze: Spectacular, the castle was built on top of a village on a rocky promontory, in Camille’s family for 3 generations. So this former English teacher moved there with his wife and children in 1999, taking over the duties of the monument.
Then Le Temps d’un Détour in Haute-Vienne, we will discover the Château de Chalucet, one of the most important fortresses in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. This time, thanks to augmented reality, we discover that place in a different way, an exciting experience.
