Well before 8:30 a.m., when the sales counters are open, the latter and other passengers were already there, forming a particularly long line in front of the entrance to the building of the Air Saint-Pierre company and the travel agency. The goal: to make sure that you have your ticket.
Every year the frenzy continues. Thanks to these direct flights that take just 5.5 hours, anyone will be able to go directly to Paris between June 18 and September 3, 2024, without going through Canada. Passengers from Paris will be able to come to Saint-Pierre, without stopping, from June 17 to September 2, 2024.
Despite the constant increase in prices since the establishment of this connection in 2018, travelers flock to take advantage of this significant time saving every year. “The important thing is that my children can come and join me and live here.” comments Gaël. In barely two hours, more than 800 tickets have already been sold. At the end of the day, around 4 p.m., almost 75% of the tickets that were on sale had already been sold.
