On September 14, there was a presentation of the intervention projects for the preservation of natural environments, which the students have carried out in the last 6 months. The day also highlighted the work they have done in different practice settings in Quebec and abroad.

This event marked the end of a concise journey started in January 2022 marked by determination, perseverance and continuous efforts. The celebration took on an even more special color because this is the first cohort to complete the new program.

The master’s degree in systematic management of natural environments is a professional development course that trains experts in the field of natural environment management. It offers a regular track with experience in a practice environment in Quebec or Canada, in addition to an international track that has previously been offered in another form and has a well-established reputation.

The training prepares you for rigorous scientific practice focused on the sustainable use, protection and restoration of natural environments in an interdisciplinary, intercultural or international context. In addition to the academic component, students participate in authentic projects of non-governmental organizations, companies, research centers, ministries and several other partners.

This first version enabled 70% of full-time students to continue their career within the organization that welcomed them during their stay in the practice environment.
